_ SPEC and USB ports
I determined to use iMac to control SPEC. Accordingly, the rs232c ports should be connected via usb ports.
I installed FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_18.dmg.
_ After installing, I found "/dev/tty.usbserial-FTAJM9VP" is created.
Now it is connected to LakeShore 331 temperature controller.
